Can I try a dress on before renting it?

Yes, try on appointments can be arranged via instagram DM. We are located in Toowong, Brisbane. Free street parking is available. 

 

 Can I bring people with me to the try on? 

Yes, our showroom space accommodates yourself + up to 3 other guests. All guests are also welcome to try on during the appointment. There is an entirely private change room. 

 

Are all of your garments vintage?

Yes, our collection is made up of pieces from the 1950s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s. 

 

What is your size range?

We currently stock sizes 4-14. Vintage sizing can be complicated, but we are always on the look out for new vintage garments and endeavour to expand our size range. 

 

Do you ship interstate?
Yes, express postage is available Australia-wide upon request. This service incurs a $25 to and from postage fee. 

 

Are try-ons available interstate?

Sadly not, try ons are for local clients only. Exact measurements and videos can be provided upon request to assist you with sizing. 

 

How long is the hire period?

Brisbane:

Pickup is 1-2 days before your event and drop-off is within 2 days following your event. In special circumstances, next day drop off is required. 

Interstate Postage:

The garment will be posted to arrive 1-2 business days before your event. It must be posted back the next business day following your event. 

 

What happens if I have rented a dress via postage (having not tried it on) but when it arrives I don't like it?

For all hires via postage, a store credit can be issued if you do not like the dress or it does not fit. The store credit will only be issued if it is posted back to Mondo Hire within 24 hours of the tracked delivery time. This credit is valid for 12 months. 

 

What if I damage a garment?

We understand accidents happen. If the garment is damaged beyond repair the full RRP of the garment will be charged. If the garment is repairable, these repair costs will be deducted from your bond. Excess will be charged.
